Chevron Heaven!

I've noticed there seems to be two camps when it comes to chevron, either you love, love it or ehh, not so much.  I happen to be in the love, love it camp.  So you can only imagine my sheer joy and happiness when I saw this end cap at Wal Mart.  The picture is a little blurry but there are chevron spiral notebooks and folders.  There are also striped spirals and polka dot folders.  And a really cute paisley composition book and each item is only 97 cents!!! So I only bought two things .  That's all!  Two!  It was all so cute and I just couldn't decide what to buy.  Now I'm kicking myself (not literally, but I should) for not getting more. I think I'll go back tomorrow.

Monday Made It!

I'm new to the blogging world.  Well new to writing a blog, not reading them. I decided to start with a Monday Made It!  I usually pass out birthday bags but when I saw this http://whattheteacherwants.blogspot.com/2010/11/student-birthdays.html on pinterest I just knew I had to make these for my class. I upcycled an empty container by making a label and tying a tulle ribbon around it.  So simple and I think it turned out so cute!
